WOODCOCK TOWNSHIP —Meadville-based State Police are on the look out for three suspects for allegedly firing at police in the area of Woodcock Township.

According to the police, the suspects are wanted for fleeing and eluding officers for an incident which took place Monday, at 7:32 p.m. The area of the incident is listed as Theuret Hill Road, Stoltz Road, Price Road and Dibble Hill Road.

The suspects consist of two males and one female. One of the males may be wearing a red shirt and red ball cap, while the other has a dark colored shirt, dark colored ball cap and tattoos, according to police. According to police, a description of the female’s attire was unknown. Heights, ages and weight weren’t given by police.

According to a Meadville Tribune article, shots were allegedly fired at police during the incident.

A white Nissan Xterra sport utility vehicle was pulled over for a speeding violation near Woodcock Lake around 5:40 p.m.

This, according to the article, led to a police chase involving state police along with Meadville and Cambridge Springs Police departments. At 6:07, shots were reportedly fired at police.

The vehicle was found abandoned near Blooming Valley around 6:20 p.m.

Residents in the Woodcock Township area are asked to report any suspicious activity to Meadville-based State Police, at (814) 332-6911.

The timeline in this article is very confusing. If the vehicle was found abandoned at 6:20pm, what was the incident that occurred at 7:32pm? The police should be embarrassed.
