A former Titusville Middle School teacher is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old boy on several occasions.

According to Corry-based State Police, Rochelle Lee Cressman, 32, was charged Monday through the Crawford County District Attorney’s Office for an alleged sexual relationship she had with the victim between Sept. 13, 2018, and April 18. During this period, police said that Cressman reportedly had sex with the victim at least 10 times.

An investigation was launched by police after they were alerted to the relationship through the victim’s mother, who had been told about it by the teen. Along with the incidents of sex, Cressman and the victim reportedly had several other sexual encounters, which took place at multiple locations. Among the locations in which the alleged incidents occurred were a private residence on Springcreek Road in Oil Creek Township, and a residence on North Martin Street in Titusville.

Based on an interview held with the victim and other evidence gathered, including cell phone messages, police filed charges. Cressman is facing 10 counts of statutory sexual assault, 10 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, one count of unlawful contact with a minor, one count of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of corruption of minors, 42 counts of indecent assault and one count of terroristic threats.

Cressman was arraigned today before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood, of Linesville. She is currently confined to Crawford County Correctional Facility, with bond set at $75,000.

SSDD why are you attacking Jahoba? Sounds to me like he is simply trying to point out that we need more police in town. I certainly agree. Perhaps if we had more patrolmen then they might have noticed the alleged crimes on N. Martin Street. I know you have been away for some time, but last time I checked N. Martin IS in the city limits and is in the TPD’s jurisdiction.

I love your passion for our city and really wish we had someone who cares for Titusville as much as you. I’m certain you would make an excellent city council member. I don’t see how you could do any worse that who we have now. Unfortunately, you don’t live here. Too bad for all of us.

Oh BS Jahoba. Did you bother to even READ the article. It says that some of the encounters happened at a private residence out on the Springcreek road. Now, I don't expect YOU to know ANYTHING about anywhere outside of town so let me elaborate.

I grew up out on the Springcreek road. Know how many times you'd see a cop out there? Probably once every 5 or 6 YEARS......and typically when you would see them, they were only passing through from the Corry State Police barracks into Titusville or to other areas. Rare did a cop ever stop out in the sticks to investigate much of anything. In case you also don't understand, it's outside of TPD jurisdiction. Once you pass that "Titusville" city sign as you nearly get to the top of Brook street you're officially in the city cops venture past that point unless a pursuit is initiated first within city limits and THEN goes past city limits. So, once again, you have zero point.

I love how you just speak for me too. That's so kind and filled with wisdom of you. When, pray tell, did I ever express virtually any of the things you claim that I did in the manner in which you describe them. For the record, I find you humorous. You use the term "fanboy" in a condescending manner.....almost makes one wonder if it violates The Heralds terms of service for posting on here. At any rate, as mentioned before in other articles.....there's nothing wrong with having Titusville pride. I see your post count, 173. That's 173 times where you've had nothing good to say about nearly anything related to Titusville. Your naysayer level is right up there....bordering on Sith Lord! [tongue]

" for mother and child!" what does that entail? How does one ensure total safety 100 percent of the time in every imaginable situation? You make it seem like the only way to be safe from all the evils lurking the dark corners of Titusville one MUST be not only married to a police officer......but also wear literal power armor (the Fallout game series type) while living in a bunker. Although, I'd wager a few hundred bucks that you're the type to complain ABOUT the police when it suits you.

Face it Jojoba, you don't really HAVE a point and nearly all of your comments are completely off topic. All you do is complain about Titusville. I used to think you were young and not very experienced with the world and that that was the reason you think in the terms in which you do. Now I'm pretty sure that you're older than 50 and are bitter because you failed to leave Titusville and live what better way to "get back" at the world then to needlessly complain about things you have no intention of standing up to correct in your local community. If Titusville is as you say it is, then "Be the Good" cupcake and get out there and CHANGE Titusville rather than complain about those in charge currently and criticize those like me that still have "Rocket pride".....because let me tell ya, when I finally move back home, it may just be ME that gets deeply involved in the "goings on" in city Gov't. Of course, hopefully by then you'll have moved onto another place where you complain just to complain.

But Titusville fanboy STDD says Titusville is safe for mother and child! This never would have happened if there was more law enforcement in the area.
