She was a candidate for Ward 3, Schererville Town Council in 1999.
Janet loved traveling to Florida with her husband, Charlie. She was the matriarch and the glue for our family, and we don’t know how to go forward without her. She will be so deeply missed by her family and friends. She brought so much joy and love to every single person she met.
One of her favorite pastimes was pittering on the weekends (lunch and shopping) with her family, and ending the excursion with the perfect cappuccino and a scone at Panera. She passed away peacefully on March 17, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. A memorial will be held at a later date for friends and family to remember and celebrate Janet.
